Minerva Alvarado, Marketing Development Specialist

Minerva is the Marketing Development Specialist. She joined the SERVPRO team as a Marketing Assistant in March, 2015. Minerva was promoted to Marketing Coordinator shortly after that and in in December, 2020, her title was changed to Marketing Development Specialist.

Minerva oversees the advertising and marketing for the Business Development team of two franchises covering two counties in Southern New Jersey. She coordinates Continuing Education Classes, and all of the networking events for each franchise. Minerva is responsible for digital marketing, social media content and marketing, and website development.

Minerva is very active in her community and serves on the board of directors for the following organizations: Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce (Corporate Secretary, Education Programs Committee Chair and Hispanic Business Committee Co-chair), Gateway Community Action Partnership, and The Salvation Army Vineland Corps where she also serves as their volunteer Facebook Page Administrator.

She is a member of the following Chambers of Commerce: Southern New Jersey, Bridgeton Area, Greater Millville, Greater Vineland, Cape May County, Middle Township, Ocean City Regional, Stone Harbor and Greater Wildwood. 

Minerva enjoys paper crafting, and spending time with her family. She currently resides in Vineland, NJ.

Colleen Ayala, Business Development Consultant

Colleen joined SERVPRO of Cape May & Cumberland Counties in July, 2016 as a Business Development Consultant.

Prior to joining SERVPRO, Colleen was employed for over eight years in Operations Management and also spent 15 years in Corporate travel.

Colleen is active with the Chambers of Commerce for Bridgeton Area, Greater Millville, Greater Vineland, Southern New Jersey and New Jersey Schools Buildings & Grounds - Burlington County. She is President for Tri-County Rotary, an Executive Board Member for the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce, and the Events Committee Chair. Colleen is also a member of the Bridgeton Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Committee.

Colleen is originally from the Pine Barrens and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has two sons who are both active US Military, Evan (Army) and James (Air Force). Colleen has four grandchildren, Carter, Riley, Carson and Nathaniel. She currently resides in Waterford Works, NJ with her husband, José Ayala, Jr.

Harold Lapp, Jr., Business Development Consultant

Harold joined the SERVPRO of Cape May & Cumberland Counties team in August, 2017 as a Business Development Consultant.

Prior to joining SERVPRO, Harold was employed for a mold remediation and water proofing company, worked in the Telecom Industry for twelve years both as a sales consultant and sales supervisor, operated and owned a small town newspaper for five years and managed a portrait and social event studio for sixteen years.

Harold is active with the Chamber of Commerce for Cape May County, Cape May County Association of Realtors and the Cape May County Association of REALTORS.

Currently, Harold resides in Little Egg Harbor with his wife, Diane.

David Brace, Senior Director Large Loss Division

David joined SERVPRO of Cape May & Cumberland Counties in 2019. His focus is managing and directing our Large Loss Division. As a Disaster Recovery Team, he oversees large losses in and around the counties of Cumberland and Cape May. Dave's prior experience managing commercial accounts means he understands the needs and concerns of our commercial clients.

He is a member of the New Jersey Food Processing Association, Southern New Jersey Development Council, Philadelphia Loss Conference, New Jersey Schools Buildings & Grounds, New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, the New Jersey Food Council, Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey.

Before joining SERVPRO, Dave was self-employed in sales for 12 years and prior to owning his own business, he worked in Sales for AmeriGas.

David is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He enjoys playing golf and coaching local children’s athletic teams. David lives in Ocean City, New Jersey with his daughter Meilyn and son, Joe.

Michael Freerksen, Reconstruction Operations Manager

Mike, is the Reconstruction Operations Manager for two franchises. He joined the SERVPRO team in 2017. He's the best Reconstruction guy in Southern New Jersey and a veteran who served our country in the United States Army. Mike currently serves in the U. S. Army Reserves. We are honored to have Mike on our SERVPRO team!

When customers call SERVPRO of Cape May & Cumberland Counties to ask about the work involved in restoring their property back to pre-loss condition, Mike writes the estimate and directly manages the in-house team during the entire restoration process. He is our example of Why SERVPRO!

Mike oversees reconstruction projects in the two counties our Franchises cover: Cape May County and Cumberland County. He has experience as a field adjuster, so he understand both sides of the estimate process and delivers 100% every time.

Mike enjoys taking trips with his wife, Francine and their two daughters. The family resides in Vineland, NJ.
